This is a remote position but must be based in Florida, with occasional in-person meetings and events throughout the state.
The Forum is open to this being a full OR part-time role.
Florida Venture Forum, Florida’s largest statewide support organization for investors and entrepreneurs, has an immediate opening for the role of Member Success Manager.
We are looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented person to join our growing team. The perfect candidate will develop and execute strategies to attract, engage, retain, and serve the Forum’s most important constituency: its members.
The Member Success Manager will join a small team and serve the Forum’s 500+ members including Florida’s most active VC’s and hottest startups!
Responsibilities:
- Membership Marketing:
- Take charge of membership marketing efforts, including identifying potential members and new member categories.
- Develop effective communication tools and outreach strategies to drive membership growth, retention, and ROI.
- Collaborate with senior staff to determine member pricing and levels that align with market demand.
- Membership Outreach and onboarding:
- Design and conduct outreach to potential members.
- Represent the organization at industry events.
- Work with senior staff to onboard new members, ensuring they integrate with the organization and obtain full value from their membership.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for members’ needs and services.
- Manage Member Communication and Services:
- Manage member database to ensure a well-organized, efficient, and effective platform for member communications.
- Create and distribute compelling member communications for informational and marketing purposes.
- Develop regular and special purpose communications for senior staff to send to members.
- Serve as daily point of contact for member inquiries, requests, and services.
- Utilize Forum communications channels to help members promote their news, events, etc.
- Member Events:
- Plan and execute various member events in collaboration with senior staff.
- Drive member participation at Forum events and conferences through targeted outreach and marketing efforts.
- Serve as a representative of the Forum to support member events as needed.
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication, or related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in membership management, sales, marketing, or community engagement
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail
- Event planning/execution experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and project management tools.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing marketing campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
- Highly collaborative individual who excels in decision-making within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while also collaborating effectively with colleagues and senior staff.
